Jurate and I had the great honor of being on the cover of "Family"
magazine in Lithuania.
The article was called "The First American Lithuanian" (I lived there
for 6 1/2 years) and detailed our work on behalf of Lithuania's children.

Lithuania's first president after the Soviet occucapation, President Brazauskas, was a great supporter of our program to help disadvantaged children in the country.
Here I showed him his letter in our Program guide that helped us get a shipload of toys through customs in time for Christmas. |
